He was predeceased by: his parents, August Schaffran and Florence Schaffran (Schultz); his wife Helen June Sexton; and his sister LaVerne Radel. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney (Debra) of Willmar, Dean of Newton, IA, Wesley of Houston, TX, Thomas (Sharon) of Seward, NE, Wayne (Patricia) of Chaska and Curtis (Colleen) of Apple Valley; and his sister Janith Adams of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and additional extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wabasso Library, WAFER, Lucan First Responders, and Wabasso Ambulance Service.
