It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daryl Viland of Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrol Viland and Bettie Viland (Priester); his grandparents, Raymond, Luella Priester, Clarence and Martha Viland; and his brother-in-law Terry Maher.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Viland of Pipestone; his children, Kelly DeGezelle (Kevin) of Mahtomedi, Kristel Rogers (Eric) of Cottage Grove and Ryan Viland (Jessica Reinhart) of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Jean Maher of Sioux Falls, Dennis Viland of Jasper and Steve Viland of Pipestone; and his grandchildren, Lawson DeGezelle, Cohen Rogers, Paisley DeGezelle, Leighton Rogers, Lilia DeGezelle and Trey Viland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
