He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Willert and Viola Willert (Bebensee) of Verdi; his brother David Willert; and his grandsons, Delbert Willert and Cuyler Willert.
He is survived by : his son Dennis Jay (Trista) of Brookings, SD; his wife Darlene DeWeerd; his children, Kerry of Keller, TX, Kristie Wildung (Stan Fopma) of Grinnell, IA, Kevin (Laura) of Kilgore, NE and Klint (April) of Aurora, SD; his grandchildren, Natalie, Rachel, Cassie, Collin, Wesley, Kesmond, Kestlyn, Xzavier, Denley, Huxley, Ayden and Selwyn; his great grandchild Braxton; and his close friends, Shane Johnson and Bill Grenz.
Memorials will be donated to one of several local charitable organizations of the family's choice.
