Edie Aas Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 80, Edie Aas of Luverne, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edie Aas to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Berg and Alda Berg (Steiger); her husband Gordon Aas; and her siblings, Harold and Betty Ward.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Petersen (Doug) of Jasper and Jared Aas of Buffalo, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Kerri Petersen of Brandon and Bryce Petersen (Jessica) of Jasper, Minnesota; her great grandchildren, James Wussow and Sawyer Wick; her siblings, Philip Berg (Linda) of Rhame and Theresa Berg of Rhame; and her siblings-in-law, Charlie Ward of Dickinson and Audrey Knollenberg of Alexandria, Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Jasper Lutheran Church, Jasper Auxiliary, or the Jasper Lions Club (to help local individuals).
