It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Drietz of Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemence Drietz and Rose Drietz (Lozinski); his siblings, Vernon, Florian Drietz, Elizabeth Meyer and Patricia Drietz; and his nephew Steven Drietz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Genevieve Woratschka (Eric) of Springfield, IL, Leonard Drietz (Pat) of Coon Rapids, MN, Catherine Reese of Tyler, MN, Donald Drietz (Helen) of Lake Benton, MN and Mary Sherrill of Garden Grove, CA; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Drietz of Laramie, WY and Randy Meyer of Brookings, SD. He is also survived by many great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces.
