He is survived by: his wife Maxine Johnson of Ihlen, MN; his children, Christine Erickson (Tim) of Pelican Rapids, MN and Lane Johnson (Jill) of Santa Rosa, CA; his grandchildren, Collin (Lindsay), Taylor (Emma) and Nathan (Lexi); his son Lindsay Johnson (Tamara) of Pipestone, MN; his grandchildren, Laura Aaberg (Pete Devick), Chase (Alana), Lance and Christopher (Bianca Claussen); his son Curtis Johnson (Diane) of Jasper, MN; his grandchildren, Clayton (Amy), Carlton (Taylor) and Donavon (Brianna); his stepson Mike Hellie (Lynn) of Pipestone; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda and Aaron; his sister Betty Smith (Marlin) of Raymore, MO; his sisters-in-law, Florence Johnson of Rochester, MN, Betty Lubke of Pipestone, Marjie Oye of Pipestone and Sally Buhner of Edgerton, MN; his close friends, Jim Vatne (Carolyn DeJongh) of Ihlen, Ralph and Geraldine Halbur of Pipestone; Emily Haugrud. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
