She was predeceased by: her parents, August Lier and Margaret Lier (Staael) of Luke's Hospital; and her son-in-law Bryan Kienholz. She is survived by: her husband Ed; her children, Ruth Aldrich (Bryan) of Luverne, Patty Kienholz of Luverne, Angie Akkerman (Lenny) of St. Michael, MN and Jon Salzer of Luverne; her grandchildren, Nate Aldrich (Megan), Sarah Arriaza (Steven), Nicole McCray (Ben), Kristen Stoks (Kyle), Alyssa Kienholz, Nick Akkerman (Aspen) and Makayla Akkerman; her great grandchildren, Conner, Hunter Aldrich, Brayton, Quinn and Micha McCray; and her siblings, Herman Lier (Esther) of Aberdeen, Florence Gardiner of Portland, OR, Joyce Anderson of Richfield, MN and Jean Cedar (Paul) of Cathedral City, CA..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the American Reformed Church - Luverne (304 N Fairview Dr, Luverne, MN 56156). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
