She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Fuerstenberg and Perryetta Fuerstenberg (Lynch); and her sister Marian Franklin. She is survived by: her husband Michael Sweeney of Luverne; her sons, Shawn Sweeney (Heather Andersen) of Luverne and Colin Sweeney of Rockville, Maryland; her grandchildren, Caitria Bjorkman (Seth) of Luverne, Seanan Sweeney of Marshall and Grace Sweeney of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her great grandchildren, Alexander "Alex" Bjorkman of Luverne and Finnegan "Finn" Bjorkman of Luverne; and her sisters, Shirley Legler (Verilyn) of Adrian, Jane Larsen (Glenn) of Fountain Hills and Carol Volk (Jim) of Madison Lake, Minnesota..
