He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hoffman and Emma Hoffman (Hartman); his stepmother Ester Hoffman; his sons, Daniel and Timothy; his grandson Daniel; and his sisters, Iris Groninga and Ines Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hagen; and his sons, Steve Hoffman (Terri) of Sioux Falls, SD, Randy Hoffman (Joni) of Brandon, SD, David Hoffman (Sherri) of Sioux Falls, SD and Terry Hoffman of Luverne, MN. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and twenty two great-grandchildren.
