She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hendricksen and Delores Hendricksen (Stevens); and her brother Jerry Hendricksen. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Besta, Emilie Hewitt of St. Paul, Travis Hewitt (Lisa) of Tea, Andrea Hewitt of Chancellor, Micah Hewitt of Sioux Falls and Sabrina Narveson (Ryan) of Volga; her siblings, Gregory Hendricksen (Julie) of DeForest and Cindy Rierson (Daniel) of Roseville; and her sister-in-law Gayle Hendricksen of Tea. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
On Monday, May 11, 2026, Peggy died at the Sanford Hospice Foundation Cottage in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 15 days.
