He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Fick and Frieda Fick (Sohl); his siblings, Darlene Ohling and Eldon Fick; his sister-in-law Joyce Fick; his parents-in-law, Aldewin and Ruth Strassburg; and his brother-in-law Earl VonHolt.
He is survived by: his wife Avis Strassburg; his sons, Kevin (Julie) of Luverne, Timothy (Maggie) of Luverne, Jeffrey (Missy) of Luverne and Bradley (Marsha) of Luverne; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gaul (Eric), Meranda Kramer (John), Austin Fick (Jordyn Gyberg), Payton Fick (Kaitlyn), Tyler Fick (Halle), Katie Johnson (Shane), Drew Fick (Mia Griesse), Ryan Fick, Mallie Fick and Blakley Fick; his great grandchildren, Broden Kramer, Raelynn Kramer, Gracyn Kramer, Maisyn Kramer, Ruth Gaul, Rhett Gaul and Vivienne Fick; his brother Vernon Fick of Hills; and his in-laws, Egbert Ohling of Rock Rapids, Sharon Fick of Hugo and Audrey Von Holt of North Mankato.
