He is survived by: his wife Sadie Van De Kieft; his children, Michael Van Grootheest (Maryln) of Luverne, Larry Van Grootheest (Katia) of Arden Hills, MN, Leroy Van Grootheest (Heather) of Eagan, MN, Loren Van Grootheest of North Mankato, MN and Michele Kruse (Kory) of Ellsworth, MN; his grandchildren, Matthew (Katie), Michaela, McKenzie Van Grootheest (Josh Muth), Antonio, Sophia Van Grootheest, Elijah, Gabrielle, Joshua, Maya, Eden Van Grootheest, Peter, Noah Van Grootheest, Hannah Hoiland (Christian), Karly and Leah Kruse (Jonny Kill); his great grandchildren, Kallista, Huntley Van Grootheest and Baby Hoiland; and his siblings, Cornie Van Grootheest of Rock Valley, Wilbur Van Grootheest (Barb) of Rock Valley, Lawrence Van Grootheest (Dee) of Rock Valley, John Van Grootheest of Sheboygan, WI, Harriet Van De (Marinus), Betty Van Grootheest of Canton, SD, Rivinia Filipek of Sioux Falls, SD and Joann Shaw of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
