It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Alvin Lindberg of Lyle, Minnesota, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Lindberg and Esther Lindberg (Larson); his siblings, Warren, Clinton, Orville, Kenwood, Grace and Dorothy; and his in-laws, Paul and Rosella Elwood.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Elwood; his children, Brad (Jeni), Kent (Missie) and Dawn (Pat); his grandchildren, Scott (Nicole), Michael (Amanda), Megan (Nic), Sarah (Jerome), Matthew (Kat), Nickolas, Jacob, Lindy (Tanner) and Bobbi (Josh); his great grandchildren, Avery (Bre), Elliot, Jonas, Camille, Gretchen, Kain and Beau; his great great grandchild Coen; and his brother Winston (Connie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Lyle or the Lyle American Legion.
