Roger Dean Scheffel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Dean Scheffel of Lyle, Minnesota, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Scheffel and Minnie Scheffel (Helle); his brother Arnie Scheffel; his in-laws, Deverne and Darlene Johnson; and his pet Thunder.

He is survived by: his wife DeAnn Scheffel (Johnson) of Lyle; his daughters, Patty Conradt (Mark) of Rose Creek, Jenny Scheffel of Lyle, Mikky Lange (Rod) of Grand Meadow and Candy Lahann (Randy) of Austin; his grandchildren, Reidun Skjelsvik of Norway, Carter Conradt, Ashley Hiller (Zane), Braeden Scheffel (Zoe Achenbach), Garrett Lahann, Maggie and Sadie Lange; and his sister Judy Stark of Austin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Memorials may be directed to the Lyle First Responders or the Lyle Public School Trap Team—causes close to Roger's heart.
