He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Kunze and Alvena Kunze (Heuer); his brothers-in-law, Orville Iverson, LeeTierney and Charles Palmquist; and his nephew James Iverson.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Kunze; his sister Andrea Iverson of Eagan; his niece Laura Shorey (Ken) of Rosemount; his siblings-in-law, Judy Palmquist of St. James, Josie Lindquist (Kevin) of Medford, Jolene Blekestad of Madelia, Jill DeLaCruz (Ted) of Madelia, Janet Eckstein (Al) of Madelia, Jeffrey Hoffrogge (Judy) of Austin, MN and Joe Hoffrogge of Madelia; his great-nieces, Taylor Moran (Alec) of Zimmerman, Emily Dillie (Kyle) of Farmington and Heather Shorey-Olson (Jensey) of Apple Valley; and also, Madelyn Shorey, Kensey, Bodee Shorey-Olson, Greyson Moran and Logan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to be given to the American Diabetes Association or Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
