She was predeceased by : her husband Verdell Aspelund; and her parents, Ed Johnson and Alice Johnson. She is survived by : her children, Deb (Dan), Lenise (Pat), Randy (Janelle), Steve (Jane), Janelle (Kevin), Jerry (Melissa) and Alan (Denise); her sister Ferne; and her sister-in-law Marj. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, Living Meadows at Luther or an organization of the donor's choice.
