He is survived by : his wife Mary McCabe; his children, Jacqui McCabe (Stephen Cantwell), Joshua McCabe (Tiffany) and Samuel McCabe; his grandsons, Tristan, Morgan and Tate McCabe; his siblings, Barbara Grefe, Lynn Steele (Cal), Jeanne Nelson (James), Steven (Irene), Michael (Terese), Terrence (Judy) and Kelly McCabe; his mother-in-law Della Hoffmann; and his brothers-in-law, Max Hoffmann and Patrick Hoffmann (Sarah Riemann). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
