She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Wandersee and Martha Wandersee (Gentzmer); her husband Leonard Smith; her sisters, Ida Vanderwal and Alma Severson; and her son-in-law Glenn Hansen.
She is survived by : her children, Leonard, David Smith of Madelia, Barbara Reed of Hollandale, MN and Jean Hansen of Shakopee, MN; her sister-in-law Marie Smith; and also Paul. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
