He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Grey and Ruth D. Grey (Fairchild); his son Robert; and his brothers, Frederick, Keith and Walter.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Turnwall; his children, Brian Grey (Peggy) and Jana Grey; his daughter-in-law Mary Grey; his grandchildren, Kory Grey (Breonna), Tyler Grey (Abby), Ally Villarreal (Sarah), Mitchell Covington (Izzy), Kiersti Mamer (Bryce) and Kaity Lewis; his great grandchildren, Zeplyn, Vallon, Ozzy, Rhodes Grey, Elsie, Hudson Grey, Brinlee Mamer and Baby Villarreal; his sister Rena Thompson (Don); and his brother-in-law Jerry Turnwall (Brenda).
