He is survived by: his children, Carol Cottle of Madison, MN, Sharon Hardy Thornton (Doug) and Duane Burczek of Buckeye, AZ.; his grandchildren, Toby Cottle of Marshall, MN, Trish DeBraske of Madison, MN, Josh Cottle of Montevideo, MN, Gary Burczek, Jr. of Hutchinson, MN, Rick Jorgenson of Redwood Falls, MN, Jill Schaefer of Fargo, ND, Mike Burczek of Maricopa, AZ, Chris Burczek of Cedar Rapids, IA, Deon Burczek of Brighton, CO, Devin Burczek of Henderson, CO, Michelle Tayloe of Denver, CO, Bill Burczek of Maple Grove, MN, John Burczek Dreier of Minneapolis, MN, Jessica Reitzel of Pierre, SD and Laura Burczek of Boyd, MN.; his sisters, Fran Viaene of Cottonwood, MN and Leona Petrovic of Chicago, IL.; his daughters-in-law, Barb Jorgenson (Gary) of Redwood Falls, MN, Susan (Daniel) and Deb Burczek (David) of Buckeye, AZ.; and his siblings, Frank Burczek, Stella Dickey, Alex Burczek and Lorraine Rohlik. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Michael's Catholic Church (412 3rd St, Madison, MN 56256). A Mass was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
