He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ellefson and Ethel Ellefson (Larson); his parents-in-law, Merlin and Alberta Waterman; his son Kevin; his brother Roger Ellefson (Ardis); and his siblings-in-law, Jane Ellefson, Randy Waterman, Marvin Waterman, Rollin Waterman and Mel Hulleman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Waterman; his children, Shayna Duffaut of Dawson, Dawn Maiers of Dawson, Jason Ellefson (Theresa) of Webster, WI and Corbin Ellefson of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Jordan Bornhorst, Matthew Bornhorst, Brianna Maiers, Morgan Walvatne, Kaiden Ellefson, Kyrstin Ellefson (Matt Salonek) of Marshall, Jesse Snyder (Alexa), Sara Newes (Aaron), Jacob Ellefson (Taylor) and Nicholas Ellefson; his great grandchildren, Emma, Haisley, Judah, Josie, Bristol, Kaydence, Lexie, Kylee, Logan and Isla; his brothers, Walt Ellefson (Dawn) of Minneapolis, Merlin Ellefson of Dawson and Kenneth Ellefson (Linda) of Dawson; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Johnson (Charles), Mona Chan (Frank), Mary Hulleman and Sandy Ellefson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
