He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Rheingans and Alma Rheingans (Schrock); his former wife Delores (Lien); his sons, Jim (Tracey) of Blaine and Jeff (Dee) of Madison; his wife Dee; his children, Steve (Jill) of Lino Lakes and Laurie Genereux (Paul) of Minnetrista; his grandchildren, Ashley Burkman (Eli), Emily Stahl (Mike), Andrew Rheingans (Katie), Christa Behnen Rheingans (Chris), Kelly Erickson (Mitchel), Paul Rheingans (Lindsey), Garrett Genereux (Erin) and Elise Morell (Jon); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Adelyn, Everly, Anna, Jonathan, Rayna, Wesley, Hazel, Eden, Ezra, Elliott, Alma and Risa; his sister Dolores; his brothers-in-law, Howard Hovde and John Christensen; his parents-in-law, Robert and Juella Lien; his sisters, Elaine (George Bergman) and Janice (Roger Voorhees); and his great grandchild Kira Rheingans.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A prayer was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Madison Health Care Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Minnesota Valley Church (3304 261st Ave, Louisburg, MN 56256).
