He was predeceased by: his grandson Jacob Erdmann; his parents, Edwin Erdmann and Julia Erdmann; his brother Charles "Chuck" Erdmann; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Mildred Karels; his siblings-in-law, Frank Karels, Dennis Nelson, Jerry Karels, Stanley Keockeritz, Teresa Van Hout, Pam Karels, Marie Keockeritz, Lois Hoffman and Jan Erdmann; his niece Kris Legred; and his nephew Ricky Karels.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Aggie" Erdmann; his children, Amy MacArthur (Donn), Alan Erdmann (Julie) and Aaron Erdmann (Jenny); his grandchildren, Declan MacArthur, Reece MacArthur, Emma Erdmann, Madeline Erdmann (Colton), Jack Erdmann, Evan Erdmann and Emersyn Erdmann; his siblings, Dick Erdmann, Kathy Nelson, Linda Young (Bill) and Pam Fernholz (Kenny); and his sister-in-law Lila Erdmann.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery (412 3rd St, Madison, MN 56256). A prayer was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Zahrbock Funeral Chapel (108 2nd Ave, Madison, MN 56256). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (412 3rd St, Madison, MN 56256).
