He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecelia Strei (Karels) and Joseph Strei; and his brothers, Tom Strei and Ken Strei. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kloos; his children, Lisa Gearman (Mike), Chad Strei (Kathy), Joey Strei, Tammy Strei and Michelle Hope; his siblings, Eileen Christopherson, Sister Evelyn Strei, Don and Jerry; his grandchildren, Haliegh Strei, Whitley Pauly (Chris), Carley Strei, Kyra Gearman, Andrew Hope, Abbey Hope, Lauren Strei, Austin Hurrle and Lindsey Strei; his great grandchildren, Adilynn Pauly, Emery Pauly and Eli Pauly; and his children, Jerome Strei, Phyllis Mueller, Rosemary Kelzer, Eunice Schmieg and Cleora Strei. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
