She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Karels and Mildred Karels (Spors); her daughter Kristine Lagred (Stanley Koeckeritz); and her siblings, Lois, Teresa, Frank and Jerry.
She is survived by: her grandson Jonathan Lagred of Ortonville, MN; her siblings, Patricia (Robert Stenzel), Jeanette (Harold Fedt), Kathleen Karels of Rosen, MN, Eugene (Diane Karels), Agnes (Jim Erdmann), Elizabeth Comstock (Betty) of Mankato, MN and Gary (Bonnie Karels); and her siblings-in-law, Richard VanHout, Pauline Karels of Ortonville, MN and Keith Hoffman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zahrbock Funeral Home Chapel (108 2nd Ave, Madison, MN 56256). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
