With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Amanda Borgerson of Madison, Minnesota, who passed away on May 15, 2026 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Violet Amanda Borgerson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Redepenning and Lena Redepenning (Goetsch); her husband Dwight Borgerson; and her siblings, Dorothy Grabow (Harris), Lillian Meister (Leonard), Gladys Redepenning, Vernon Redepenning (Marlys), Clifford Redepenning, Florence Christensen (Norman), Jim and Larry "Pete" Redepenning.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Borgerson (Donna), Kent Borgerson (Becky) and Lisa Friesenhahn (Leonard); her siblings, Don Redepenning (Marion) and Loretta Folkerts (Orville); and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Redepenning, David, Verna Borgerson and Violet Olson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Bellingham Fire Department or the Bellingham Community Center.
