He is survived by: his father George Aspinwall (Janell Soyring) of Mahnomen; his friend Virgina Briggs; his children, Raya Thomas (Erik) of Cook, MN, Anabella Aspinwall of Mahnomen, Cara Briggs of Mahnomen, Nina Briggs of Mahnomen and Craig Briggs of Mahnomen; his grandchildren, Avia and Radian; and his siblings, Donna Aspinwall of Minneapolis, MN, Kelly Torgerson (Josh) of Rochester, MN, Scott Aspinwall of Minneapolis, Henry Aspinwall of Arizona and Mitchell Johnson (Sarah) of Maple Grove, MN. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (120 W Jefferson Ave, Mahnomen, MN 56557). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
