He is survived by: his wife Tami Norberg Paulsen of Naples, FL; his son Jonathan Joseph Paulsen (Campbell); his brothers, Richard Paulsen (Sandra) of Alexandria, MN and Stephen Paulsen (Karen) of Fort Worth, TX; his granddaughters, Alice and Parker Paulsen; and his sisters-in-law, Sheri Lund (Robert) of Minnetrista, MN and Shani Graham (James) of St. Paul, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to The Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota or Feeding Our Community Partners.
