It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil E. Stiernagle of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Leota Irene Webster of Saint's Catholic Church; his son Kim David Stiernagle; his grandsons, Rory Philipp and Shaun Maass; his parents, Herbert Edward Stiernagle and Annie Elizabeth Stiernagle (Wallace); his stepfather Rex Routh; his brother Robert Stiernagle; and his brothers-in-law, Sylvester "Pickles" Besser and Roger Kunst.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Stiernagle (Diane), Kathy Maass (Merlin), Keith Stiernagle (Paula), Karyn Kerksiek (Loren), Kurt Stiernagle (Julie) and Karla Christensen (Greg); and his siblings, Nathalie Besser, Rebecca Kunst and Rex Routh. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
