He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Goebel and Eileen Goebel; his brothers, Michael and David Goebel; and his nephew Chris Goebel.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Goebel; his children, Nicole O'Connor (Betsy Stoltz) and Jacob Goebel; his granddaughter Ellen Bellitz; his siblings, Dan Goebel (Sue), Tim Goebel, Paul Goebel, Jim Goebel (Niki), Mark Goebel (Stacy), John Goebel (Carol) and Lisa Rempher (Jay); and his sister-in-law Deb Goebel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (423 W 7th St, Mankato, MN 56001).
