She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ulmen and Frieda Ulmen (Schimek) of Mankato; her husband Charles Leo Kruse; her sisters, Kathleen Tharp and Dorothy Cain (Raymond); and her siblings-in-law, Vera Ann Sullivan (Jerry), Dolores Goettl (Ken), Carolyn Hendrick (Jack) and Ronald Kruse (Jeannie).
She is survived by: her children, Dale, Steve (Lynda), Kevin (Michelle) and Diann Ward (Bill); her grandchildren, Bradley Kruse (Gin), Kendra Ryan (Matt), Derek Kruse (Carly), Maria Kruse, Elijah Kruse, Charlie Ward, Morgan Hanson (Brody), Gage Thom (Kasey) and Bailie Madden (Jon); her great grandchildren, Neva Kruse, Jett Ryan, Willow Hanson, Boeden Thom and Sami Thom; her sister Linda Schweiss (Ed) of Springfield; and her brother-in-law Harold Kruse (Becky) of Janesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Dennis Steffel Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service (107 N Skookum St, Janesville, MN 56048). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (120 Church St, St Clair, MN 56080). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery (120 Church St, St Clair, MN 56080).
