We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2023, at the age of 63, John Thomas Francis Dougherty of Mankato, Minnesota, born in South San Francisco, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred "Millie" Simonson (Copeland) and Warren Dougherty; his brother Michael Dougherty; his close friends, Charles Flynn and Bret Foster of Maxfield Place; and his pet Brutis.

He is survived by : his brothers, Patrick and Dennis Dougherty; his nephew David; his nieces, Jennifer, Jamie and Melissa; his friends, Victoria Heun, Robyn Thompson, Deacon Frank Cesario and Father Andrew Whiting; and his pets, Fluffy and Faith. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends that he lovingly and proudly called his family.
