She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginia Larson and Carl Larson; her husband Fred Bock; her children, Lisa Lee Thorson (Ken), Fred Bock III and Carl Bock (Beth); her grandchildren, Thore Thorson (Kim), Hanne Lee Hoehn (Aaron), Dylan Thorson (Amanda), Billie Bock, Conan Bock, Jared Bock and Justin Bock; and her great grandchildren, Clayton Thorson, Ian Thorson, Noah Sodeman, Emma Lee Sodeman, Charlotte Hoehn, Eila Hoehn, Isabella Thorson, Grace Thorson, Brody Thorson, Bennett Thorson, Della Thorson and Scarlett Thorson.
Karin not only wrote, but also managed a prestigious $100, 000 National Science Foundation grant for the College.
