He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Smisek and Ione Smisek (Wondra); his grandson Micah Epps; his brothers, Ronald Smisek Sr. and Allan Smisek; and his siblings' children, Ronald Smisek Jr. and Tanya Westphal.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Uhlir; his children, Linda, Jaimeson Smisek, Angela Epps, Jeffrey Smisek, Joey Smisek, Michael Smisek (Josie), Heidi Smisek (Jennifer) and Chad Smisek; his grandchildren, Connor Epps (Haily Steinbach), Sebbi Epps, Dorian Epps, Jax Kolstad, Jaylynn Smisek, Jillian Smisek, Josylynn Smisek, RJ Smisek and Jeniyah Smisek; his great grandchildren, Eleanor and Hayden Epps-Steinbach; his brothers, Anthony "Tony" Smisek (Denise), Mark Smisek (Judy), Lyle Smisek and Wayne Smisek; his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Smisek and Lori Knutson (Clifford); and his mother-in-law Rosie Uhlir. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Le Center Funeral Home (245 S Maple Ave, Le Center, MN 56057). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
