She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Shaw and Mary Shaw (Lorentz); her husband Bernard Ayers; her son-in-law Gregory Groves; and her siblings, Anna, Elizabeth, John, Bathes, Henry, Bernard, Thomas and Cornelius.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia (Patricia Garrity) of Murrieta, CA, Jane Groves of Rochester, MN, Michael (Jeannine) of Lake Elmo, MN and Patrick (Laurie) of Andover, MN; her grandchildren, Ryan Ayers (Kari) of Fargo, ND, Jacob Groves (Katie), Tyler Groves (Cydney) of Rochester, MN and Andrea Ecker (Jack) of Woodbury, MN; her great grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah, Jonah, Grace Ayers, Amelia, Elijah, Christian, Jacob Ecker, Jonathan, Cameron and Audrey Groves; and her stepgranddaughter Deena Mather (Aaron, family: Nicole Fricke, Ken Hayes). She is also survived by family, Nicole (Matt) Fricke and family.
Memorials may be given to Holy Rosary Parish, School Sisters of Notre Dame Retirement Fund or the donor's choice.
