She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schaffenberg and Ruth Schaffenberg (Matteson); her husband Herman Ruschmeyer; and her siblings, Virginia Seigars (Dexter), Peggy Jensen (Ken), Arthur (Alica Freyholtz), Milton (Viola Ruschmeyer), Merril (Elvira Ernst), Virgine Ruschmeyer, Ernest (Valeria Evenson), Roland Ruschmeyer, Melroy Ruschmeyer and Orley (Marion Buboltz).

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Ruschmeyer (Melissa) of Eagle Lake, Dean Ruschmeyer (Heather) of Janesville and Diana Ruschmeyer (John Randolph) of Kasota; her grandchildren, John Sullivan (Skylar), Carson Ruschmeyer, Brady Ruschmeyer (Kayley Ruedy), Logan Ruschmeyer (Anna Schramm), Tate Ruschmeyer, Brianna Soules (Prince Kruah), Brooke Soules, Chase and Caleb Ruschmeyer; and her great grandchildren, Jace, Lainey, Kyrie, Maverick and Remie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
