He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Platt and Elizabeth Platt (Marking); his wife Donna; and his daughter Teri. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Steve, Pam (James) and Brenda (Tim); his grandchildren, Dylan and Grace; and his sisters, Rosie and Sister Hermann.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the VA in Michael's name.
