With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis A. Martinka of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome; her daughters, Mary and Jane Dorland; and her brothers, Donald Kraus (LaVonne) and Thomas Kraus.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Martinka (Jill) of North Mankato, Joan Martinka (John Tritz) of Spring, Doug Martinka (Rhonda) of Bemidji, MN and Jennifer Martinka (Howard Hed) of Mankato; her son-in-law David Dorland of Mankato; her grandchildren, Ryan, Amy, Joey, Jesse, Nick, Bryan, Noah, Jacob, Zach and Jana; and her sister-in-law Elaine Kraus of New Ulm. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
