She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus Johnson and Anna Johnson; her spouse Creighton James (Corky); her son David; and her siblings, Lucille, Genevieve, Joyce, Juanita, John and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel James (Nadiya), Susan Cahow (Daniel), Douglas James (Karen), Gregory James, Thomas James (Mary) and Timothy James (Heidi); her grandchildren, Monique Mitchell (Brandon), Trudy James (Glenn Chichenoff), Nick Shydenko, Lukas James, Leah Cahow, Colton Cahow (Gabrielle), Cory James (Angie), Ashley Katelhut (John), Elizabeth James, Taylor James (Chloe) and Kelli James (Gabriel Struchen); and her great grandchildren, Ryker Mitchell, Olivia Chichenoff, Carter James, Hannah James, Connor Katelhut, Riley Katelhut, Jordan Katelhut, Gracelyn Katelhut, Lincoln James and Morgan James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Saints Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church (105 N 5th St, Mankato, MN 56001). A Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Calendar Calvary Cemetery (200 Goodyear Ave, Mankato, MN 56001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saints Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, Mankato.
