It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Jans of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jans and Ethyl Jans (Ewert); and his siblings, Betty Joyce, Ron Jans, Marlin Jans and LaVonne Hurd.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Neegaard; his son Brian Jans (Charmaine) of Mankato; his grandchildren, Cory Jans and Ashley Tischer; his great grandchildren, Kenzi, Grayson, Zuri, Hayden and Zyrin; and his pet Maggie.
