He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto "Butch" Ludvik and Margaret Ludvik; his son Mark Ludvik; his brothers, Jerry Ludvik and Jim Ludvik; his in-laws, Forest and Elaine Hoveland; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia VanHeesch (Clarence), Nancy Ludvik (Jerry), LaVern Jensen (Judy), Phil Christman (Sharon) and Clarence "Chip" VanHeesch.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ludvik; his children, Susan Topp (Marvin), Jeffery Ludvik (Lee) and Michael Ludvik (Anne); and his sisters, Judy Jensen and Sharen Christman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (632 S Broad St, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
