She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Simmons and Elaine Simmons; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Ruth Hewitt. She is survived by: her husband Edwin H. Hewitt; her children, Lori Frederick of Milwaukee, WI, Jeffrey Hewitt (Diane) of Marietta, GA and Sherry Ahrenholtz (Michael) of Shawnee, KS; her grandsons, Joshua Frederick, Thomas Frederick (Molly Collins), Ethan Ahrenholtz (Raegen) and Harry Ahrenholtz; and her siblings, Milton Simmons (Diane) of Mechanicsville, MD, Elizabeth Simmons (Mark Ragan) of Edgewater, MD and William Simmons of Janesville, MN. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
