She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Elizabeth Rogers and Roland Mahoney Oates; her husband Ted Taylor; her grandmother Jean; her sisters, Gladys Clarke (Richard) and Johnnie Culbertson (Robert); and her grandson Kristian Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Edwards (Michael) of Blue Mountain, MS and Wesley Taylor (Lisa) of Mankato, MN; her grandchildren, Kelly Reid (Dan) of Wilmington, NC, Kami Foster (Jeremy) of Tell City, IN, Kyle Edwards (Nikki) of Blue Mountain, MS, James Taylor of Mankato, MN, Sarah Robertson (Beau) of Caldwell, ID, Nikelle Flores (Adly) of St George, UT, Megan Marshall and Skyler Marshall of St George, UT; and her nieces, Bobbie Gentry of Greenville, SC, Georgette Davis of Rock Hill, SC and DeeDee St Amand of Toccoa, GA. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A true Southern belle, her selfless acts of charity, warmth and kindness to others have been felt by many and left an indelible mark on all of us who have had the privilege of calling her Mom, Grandma Jean, Mema and friend.
