With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Ann Ashpole of Mankato, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on November 21, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Roessler and Lillian Roessler (Schroeder); her husband Dale Ashpole; her siblings, Harold Roessler, Melvin Roessler, Don Roessler, Bill Roessler, Robert Roessler, Milo Roessler, Marcella Talberg, Thelma Pennoyer, Lorna Hawker and Phyllis Ashpole; and her great grandchild Jazmyn Ashpole.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Ashpole (Nicole Lundgren) of Mankato and Randy Ashpole (Stacey) of Maple Grove. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Woodland Hills Funeral Home (1605 Woodland Ave, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
