He was predeceased by : his parents, Eleanor Clements (Zender) and Wilbur Clements; his in-laws, Frances (Kober) and Perry Schmit; his siblings-in-law, Bob Berendt, Carol, Vern Orcutt, Harriet and Jim Griffin; and his granddaughter Nicole Clements.
He is survived by : his wife Marion Schmit; his children, Terry, John (Deb), Paul (Chris), Tom (Molly) and Bob (Trudi); his grandchildren, Jesy, Michelle, Nate, Wesley, Noah, Ross, Taylor, Kendra, Jake, Paige and Katie; and his sister Patt Berendt.
