She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Gaard and Seraphine Gaard (Larson); her husband Harold Nuessmeier; her children, Allen and Danita; her son-in-law Steve Elton; her grandson Aaron Nuessmeier; and her brothers, James Gaard and Jerry Gaard.
She is survived by: her daughter Jenny Sandbeck (Doug) of Waseca; her daughter-in-law Paula Nuessmeier of Blue Earth; her grandchildren, Joshua Nuessmeier (Kimberly), Jonathan Nuessmeier (Skye), Amber Biessel (Aaron), Brianna Johnson (Kyle), Cristina Nienow (Lucas), Derek Sandbeck (Anje), Ryan Sandbeck (Annalee) and Jayme Sandbeck; her great grandchildren, Charlee, Everly, Kane, Letty, Jordan, Jethro and Hannah; her brother Virgil Gaard; and her sister-in-law Barb Gaard.
