Dorothy Blizil Obituary
We bid farewell to Dorothy Blizil of Maple Lake, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Kotilinek and Elsie Kotilinek (Provo); her husband Irving Blizil; her son Gary; her sisters, Muriel Rassat (Clarence) and Lucille Schmitz (Robert); her parents-in-law, William and Mary Blizil; and her siblings-in-law, Clifford and Eloise Blizil.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Blizil (Denise) of Maple Lake, Steve Blizil (Lori) of Maple Lake, Joe Blizil (Marilyn) of Maple Lake and Susan Peters (Mark) of Buffalo; her daughter-in-law Robin Wahlstrom (Todd); her grandchildren, Jennifer Heinz (Brandon), Jill Bodin (Aaron), Tracy Grobbel (Alex), Michael Blizil, Alex Blizil (Nicole), Matt Blizil (Lola), Laura Tokkesdal (John), Nicole Elfmann (Scott), Ashlee Ashton (Brendan) and Paige Jarmuzek (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Brady, Allie, Logan, Turner, Colten, Ryder, Amelia, Charli, Nash, Camdyn, Levi, Wrenley, Tate, Lennon and Drue; and her sister Joyce Paumen (Gerald) of Buffalo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel (108 Oak Ave N, Maple Lake, MN 55358). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Timothy Catholic Church (8 Oak Ave N, Maple Lake, MN 55358).
