He is survived by: his wife Alison Grorud; and his children, Lars, Julia (Anuraag) and Leif.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (5460 63rd St NW, Maple Lake, MN 55358). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
