It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Carroll Malachek of Maple Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Malachek and Dorothy Malachek (Isensee); his son Joseph Malachek; his siblings, Lois Malachek and Shirley Stern (Glen); and his siblings-in-law, Gertrude Donovan (Paul), Viola Asgian (Chuck), Robert Zeller (Phyllis), Ed Zeller, Walter Grotz and Cathy Borell.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Goelz of Maple Lake; his children, Charles Malachek (Terri) of Maple Lake, Todd Malachek (Judy) of Maple Lake and Lori Hangsleben (David) of Solway; his stepchildren, Tom Goelz (Kim) of Buffalo, Debra Miller (Mark) of Annandale, Mary Jo Logeais (Steve) of Annandale, Michael Goelz (Kim) of Annandale and Patrick Goelz (Sheri) of Annandale; his grandchildren, Hailee, Hunter, Joe (Beth), Jenny (Mark), Amanda (Nathan), Roy (April), Abbie (Barry), John (Daidre), Mitch (Meghan), Jared, Jordan (Lisa), Jade, Jillian, Holly (Jon), Tony (Jenny), Melanie (Aaron) and Erika (Jared); his great grandchildren, Kiana, Kaylan, Austin, Eli, Landon, Aaron, Owen, Lily, Cora, Jack, Wyatt, Devin, Nora, Hank, Elsie, Brynlee, Teagan, Isabelle, Russell, Lydia, Harvey and McKenna; his brother Richard Malachek (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Labelle Zeller, Mary Grotz and Jim Borell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
