She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius John (Case) and Sophie Christina Veldhuizen (VerHoef); her husband Robert Milton Legler; her sons, Robert "Bob" and Daryl; her grandsons, Korey and Kelley Legler; and her siblings, John, Albert, Arnold, Bernard, Gert Schneider, Anthony "Tony", Emma Jasper, Casey, Julia Kreun and Roger Veldhuizen.
She is survived by: her children, Arlis Legler of Goodyear, AZ, Mavis Hilpipre of Blue Earth, MN, Darlene Fritzinger (Paul Mechem) of Altoona, IA, Dennis Legler (Lulu) of San Diego, CA, Rolly Legler (Patty Nading) of Prairie du Chien, WI, Nancy Strobel (Jim) of Maple Grove, MN and Russ Legler (Lon) of Pipestone, MN; her daughter-in-law Donna Legler of Minneapolis, MN; her siblings, Robert Veldhuizen (Marian), Sophie Schoolmeester (Jerold), Mildred VanWyke and Marvin Veldhuizen (Rosalyn); and her in-laws, Kathy Veldhuizen and Carl Kreun. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; as well as many beloved friends and the compassionate caregivers.
